How do I fix the “file too large for destination file system” error? (9 อ่าน)

The file too large for destination file system error usually appears when you try to copy a large file to a drive that uses the FAT32 file system. FAT32 has a maximum individual file size of about 4 GB, so even if the destination drive has plenty of free space, a larger file cannot be copied to it. You can check the drive’s file system by opening its Properties in Windows. If the drive is FAT32, converting or reformatting it to a file system such as NTFS or exFAT can allow larger files, but reformatting can erase existing data. If the drive contains important files, back them up or recover them before making changes.
