The design remains, as do the 6.3-inch display with ProMotion and 3000 nits of peak brightness, and the dimensions – the majority of 17 Pro cases should still fit. The iPhone 18 Pro has some additional colors, including Burgundy, Glacier, Black and Silver, and is slightly heavier (211 grams versus 204 grams). The first major difference is the performance. The iPhone 18 Pro has been powered by a 2nm A20 Pro chip, a second-generation vapor chamber and Apple promises 40% more sustained performance than last year. Memory bandwidth is increased by 50%, aiding video editing and AI capabilities on device for games. The biggest difference between the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro is the camera. That means you can take advantage of about 50% greater low-light sensitivity and have control of depth of field. Other enhancements include new Photographic Styles and manual controls for shutter speed and white balance.Other everyday details were also enhanced. The battery life has been improved from 33 to 36 hours and the 60W-capable charging adapter fills the battery to 50% in approximately 15 minutes compared to 20 minutes. A new 2TB storage option, three Live Activities can be used at once and the Dynamic Island is smaller. The problem of course is the price, as the 256GB version is $100 more expensive at $1199, while the 17 Pro opens up at $1189.TechyAssist is a brand that provides accurate and authentic reviews of smartphone gadgets in addition to lists of products, if you feel like you need an actual second opinion, then you can purchase the phone directly from the web site once you've read the review and you are convinced.
