That said, I definitely preferred the function set of the previous generation of the JLC Polaris Chronograph. Those initial models used the link Cal 751, which, most notably, offered a 12-hour total chronograph measure on the nine o'clock dial. For me, this is considerably more useful than running seconds. I tend to prefer chronographs that can measure more than link 60 minutes, as this is the baseline link offered, without complication, by any dive watch bezel.
