When I was the head of men's at J.Crew, in 2008, we opened up the Liquor Store, and it was our first men's store. Snyder worked with some big names on the original J.Crew incarnation, including Andy Spade, Mickey Drexler, and others. "It link was such a big moment in my career, and it meant link so much because men's link just took off after that, which was a big reason why I ended up leaving J. Crew," Snyder recalls. "I wanted to do my own thing, to take this momentum and take advantage of it."
