What's the deal with those super cheap luxury cars on Instagram ads? (11 อ่าน)

I keep seeing these ads pop up on my feed for things like a 2019 Audi Q7 for under 40k and a Range Rover Velar for barely more than that, always with some vague caption about "fresh import" or "drives like new." Curiosity got the better of me and I messaged one of these accounts, and the guy was super responsive but got weirdly defensive when I asked for the VIN to check the history myself. He kept saying the car is perfect and I just need to come see it in person in Al Aweer, but everything I've read about that area makes me nervous to just show up without knowing what I'm walking into. I'm tempted by the idea of getting something flashy for way less than market value but I also have this sinking feeling that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I'm thinking maybe the smart move is to take control of the process instead of letting them rush me, like maybe I find a car I like and then just arrange for someone independent to meet me there. I saw that prepurchasecarinspection.ae has a mobile service so they'd come to wherever the car is located, which seems perfect for situations like this where you don't trust the seller's own "inspection." Has anyone actually bought one of these Instagram specials and had a good experience, or are they all just hiding major accident damage?
