I know this forum is focused on engineering solutions for tanks, but I’m curious how many of us think about sustainability outside of work as well. In my free time I’m really into vintage clothing, because reusing well‑made older garments feels a bit like extending the lifecycle of good equipment instead of scrapping it too early. It’s a small personal way to reduce waste, save resources, and still enjoy high‑quality materials and design.

Are there other engineers here who pay attention to things like circular economy, reuse, or lifecycle thinking in your daily life—whether through vintage clothing, refurbished gear, or secondhand tools and equipment?

While mechanically sound, the Trooper is an honest daily, not a show car and it has a lift, larger wheels, and other suspension upgrades. The link bumpin' system has long since been removed in favor of SUV overlander upgrades but the Trooper remains link one link of Nicholas's favorite things and it has the specificity and backstory to match that of his favorite watches.
