It is impressive to get a double-double or a triple-double in basketball, but they aren’t the same thing and depend on how many statistical categories a player has to excel in. A double-double is when a player can get a double-digit score in two different categories, and a triple-double is a triple-digit score in three distinct categories. For the most part, achieving a triple-double is a lot more impressive and somewhat harder to achieve than a double-double since it requires a player to be great in almost all aspects of the game.
