<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">I&rsquo;m researching POS software for a jewellery store and need more than basic retail billing. The system should ideally manage gold purity, item weight, making charges, hallmark details, inventory, and customer purchase history.

Would a general retail POS system be suitable, or is specialised jewellery software a better option? If you have experience with jewellery billing systems, please share which features you found most useful and what I should verify before purchasing.
