Yes. Kubb is family-friendly, but:

- Consider a **lighter, smaller kubb set** for young children.

- Supervise during play to ensure safe throwing behavior.

- Set a shorter field length so kids can reach the kubbs more easily.

### Can I play kubb on the beach?

Absolutely. Kubb is excellent on sand:

- Pieces don’t roll much when they land.

- Easier on batons if they miss and hit the ground.

Just rinse off sand and salt and let the pieces dry thoroughly after use.

### Do I need an official kubb set to enjoy the game?

No. For casual play, any reasonably sized wooden kubb set works fine.

If you plan to participate in tournaments or leagues, look for sets labeled **“tournament size”** or following official dimensions.

### How many people can play with one kubb set?

One kubb set supports:

- 2–12 players comfortably, split into two teams.
