Store Redesign Launched and Sales Actually Dropped (4 อ่าน)
30 ต.ค. 2569 23:23
We just relaunched a client's online store after two months of redesign work, and the early numbers are rough. Traffic is holding steady, but conversions are down compared to the old site. The client is understandably nervous, and honestly, so am I. Nobody wants to be the person who made things worse.
Before anyone panics, I keep reminding myself that post-launch dips are common. New layouts disrupt user habits, tracking may be off, and there's always an adjustment period. But that's cold comfort when the client is staring at a dashboard every morning and emailing me screenshots.
I'm digging into the data now, comparing funnel drop-offs, checking page speed, and reviewing session recordings. I suspect the new checkout flow added a step that's costing us. If that's the case, it's fixable, and probably quickly.
Still, I'd love to hear from anyone who's been through this. How long did your dip last, and what actually fixed it? I've seen Ecommerce Web Design Services teams swear by A/B testing the old versus new layout, and I'm considering exactly that.
