These are simpler in design, relatively low in cost, and are typically used in smaller applications with lower pressure requirements. On the other hand, water-tube boilers circulate water through tubes that are externally heated by combustion gases. These boilers can operate at much higher pressures and capacities, making them ideal for large-scale industrial use where rapid steam generation is critical.
