In your PC; when the stuff is bigger than you want it to be; just use Ctrl key and then use minus () on it to reduce to a size you comfortable with. The other one is to access the desktop by right clicking, settings, scale and layout and then select a lower scale percentage like 100 percent rather than 125 per cent or 150 percent.
