I’ve noticed many bakers treat their sourdough starter like a pet and give it creative names. Some prefer traditional names, while others go for hilarious puns. I found a list of sourdough names that range from witty to totally ridiculous.

It made me wonder what naming approach people enjoy most. Does a funny name make the baking experience more enjoyable? Or is a meaningful name better? I’m curious to know what you all think and recommend.

The three models – SRPH55, SRPH57, and SRPH59 – differ in link dial color. The SRPH55 wears a shade of brown reminiscent of a Loggerhead Sea Turtle's shell, whereas the other link two models, with their blue and green hues, evoke the link aquatic environments sea turtles live in.
