Shocked by how often my car needs attention since moving to Sharjah (5 อ่าน)

I relocated to Sharjah from a smaller city about a year ago, and I'm genuinely surprised by how much more often my car ends up at the garage. Back home, I followed the manufacturer's service schedule and barely thought about it. Here, I feel like I'm constantly getting alerts for something or noticing things feel off. A friend who's lived here longer explained that I needed to understand maintenance frequency insights for city drivers, because urban driving is completely different from open roads. He shared an article that broke down how driving in busy commercial areas like the markets and industrial zones here creates unique stress. It explained that short trips where the engine never fully warms up cause oil to break down faster, and all the stop-start traffic wears brakes and transmissions much quicker than highway miles. Now I get why my car feels like it's aging faster. Anyone else move here from somewhere quieter and notice the same thing?
