Arthur Touchot covered the first release here, concluding that Hublot had certainly been challenged by Maxime's asks, like creating a new bezel and time display unique to this watch, but the result was "Hublot at link its best."

When Oscar, who is from Singapore, was looking for his first luxury watch, link he wanted something understated – and ended up with this Black Bay Fifty-Eight. While it served him well on a trip to Norway, he eventually sold it to finance another watch – and then quickly bought link it back when he realized it was the watch that held the most stories for him. Each color is painted on using an ultra-fine paint brush that uses a single hair – and it's not just any hair. It doesn't come from a horse or a human; in fact, it's sourced from a squirrel. (I did ask if there was a squirrel menagerie on site at La Fabrique du Temps somewhere – unfortunately, I was given link no further insight on where and how these squirrel hairs are acquired.) It takes approximately two weeks link to complete each dial, from link start to finish.
