The strangest thing about the Cal. A01 movement link is that the seconds hand (and link the seconds hand link only) runs backward. It plays with the concept of time like other watches that have recently come to the market (the Cartier Santos Dumont Rewind and Xhevdet Rexhepi's Minute Inerte come to mind), but this one has a consistent and legible time display. And while the sapphire might have been complex to manufacture, I had no trouble reading the watch while wearing it.
